Teens are turning to Facebook alternatives

unnamed
As the largest social network Facebook becomes more crowded and unappealing, teens are turning to other social media sites like Snapchat and Instagram which are both photo-sharing apps. The gradual downturn for Facebook is said to result from a number of factors.

This means that if Facebook wants to keep afloat they have to optimize their mobile experience and ultimately revamp their flooded social media service. Perhaps the social giant can offer a filtered experience with users having the ability to choose from a simple and advanced interface (which refers to the default one). Depending on your need you could switch to either a minimal interface or an full-blown one.
It seems that Facebook’s weakness here is its original design. Like other social networking sites which offer a wide range of service they eventually gets tiring and boring. Maybe social networking is aiming for specialization. Other popular social networks are niche-based unlike Facebook.
