Considering the time it takes mobile carriers to make this kind of update available after Google's release of Android, this is impressibly fast. The said update will include most of Android 4.3's key features—Bluetooth 4.0 and OpenGL ES 3.0 support among them—plus a few handset-specific enhancements. Bluetooth pairing now comes with the Galaxy S4 while the IR blaster is now enabled in HTC One. Also the new camera app from 4.3 is included in the update.
In some reports HTC One still seems to be running Android 4.2.2 even after the software update. Nonetheless the promptness of this update serves as testament to the control in the right direction that Google has in their devices.
